Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how the Deck Plugin Store (“the Service”) handles information when you use apps.deckclip.app. It applies to this website and related account features. It does not replace the Deck desktop app’s own privacy practices for data stored locally on your Mac.
Our Terms of Service explain the rules for using the Service. Together with this Policy, they govern your relationship with us when you use the Store.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to operate the Service:
- Account data: email address and authentication identifiers managed by our auth provider.
- Plugin data: metadata and files you upload when you publish or update a plugin.
- Usage data: aggregated metrics such as download counts associated with plugins.
- Abuse and safety: when you submit an abuse report, we process the details you provide (such as contact email and description) and related technical records needed to investigate.
- Security: we may process limited technical data (for example IP-derived signals or hashed identifiers) when necessary to prevent abuse, in line with our infrastructure providers’ documentation.
How we use information
We use the above information to:
- Create and secure accounts, and authenticate sessions.
- Host, display, and distribute plugins and related listings.
- Provide download statistics and operate core Service features.
- Detect spam, fraud, and misuse; respond to abuse reports; and protect users and the Service.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies (or equivalent storage) to keep you signed in. Where we present Cloudflare Turnstile, Turnstile may set cookies or use browser storage as described in Cloudflare’s policy. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking pixels on the Service.
Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication, database storage, and related infrastructure. We use Cloudflare for delivery and bot protection (including Turnstile). Processing occurs according to their terms and this Policy.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and plugin data as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us; removing listings may take effect as described when you delete content or close your account.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a web application of this kind. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; use the Service and install plugins with that understanding.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International users
Our providers may process data in regions where they operate facilities. By using the Service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those regions.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
